Synopsis

Every day in a nice little Canadian town, Frenchie the Zamboni driver must solve a grisly murder to clear his Québecois name…and the ice for tonight’s hockey game.

Set in the nice little Canadian town of Beavermount, Ontario, Sorry About The Murder is a cozy murder mystery that wonders just how Canadians stay so darn nice and polite, and where all that pent up aggression goes.

Main Cast

Tom Goudie

Tom is our homespun Narrator, and is an accomplished Voice Artist, having voiced numerous commercials and radio properties. He is also an award-winning Writer, Creative Director, Audio Director and Strategist.

He used to be a pretty good hockey player, and is a former white water raft instructor.

Tom lives in Toronto, Ontario but his heart lives somewhere in the Muskokas.

Jeff Tremblay

Jeff plays Frenchie, our intrepid Zamboni driver. He is a highly accomplished voice artist, writer, producer, and musician.

Jeff lives and works in his new house in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec.

Trish Robb

Trish is our Announcer, and on top of being a highly sought after Voice Artist, she’s a multi instrumentalist and Singer-Songwriter.

She was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick but grew up in Bowmanville, Ontario which we understand is quite picturesque.

Production Team

Drew Frohmann

Drew is the creator, writer and director of Sorry About The Murder. He is an accomplished podcast creator, writer and voice director who works out of TA2 Sound + Music in Toronto. He created the award-winning sci-fi audio comedy HUMAN-B-GON (for which he won Best Director at both LA Webfest and New Jersey Webfest) and was Voice Director on animated series like Crack-Duck and Terrifficland. Drew grew up in Wawa, Ontario so you’d think he wouldn’t be such a suck about winter.

Oliver Wickham

Oliver Wickham is the Composer for Sorry About The Murder. He studied classical piano then moved into melodic house music and techno. Other scoring projects include the Sundance hit A Violent Nature (in theatres now), the sci-fi thriller ‘Project Ithaca’ and the CBC series ‘Queens’. He is also a regular contributor to esteemed record label Anjunadeep, with singles such as ‘Indigo’ and ‘World Away’. He is also a composer/director at TA2 Sound + Music.

Adam Ive

Adam is the Sound Designer, Audio Engineer and Mixer.

Adam has mixed some of the top horror films of recent years, including the Sundance hit In A Violent Nature (in theatres now) as well as Antrum ‘the deadliest film ever made.’

He has also mixed podcasts like HUMAN-B-GON, Two Cents, and Climate Challengers.

Adam is the proud new human of Penny, a very cute puppy.
